Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi all, I have an onkyo ts-xr 674e amp/reciver and a set of 5.1 KEF speakers in use for the last 4 years or so.
My sub (model number 2010) stopped working a short time ago.

My question is how can I check if the problem is my amp or my sub?

The sub powers on ok but it has no sound. It won't power on when left in auto mode in which it should automatically power on when sound is fed to it. So I switched it to manual.
Ive tried playing around with the amps settings but no joy.
One thing I did notice was when I plug out and in the subs sound cable it does emit a loud thump.

Any advice would greatly be appreciated.

    Fixed!!!

I reset the onkyo back to factory settings and the sub is working again!
Hope this info helps someone else out in the future.
