Asics Gel 1160 Boys vs Ladies

    Asics Gel 1160 runners are €95 for Ladies sizes
    But, the Boys version is €45. As I take a size 5, the boys ones fit me.

    Also, they are currently €32 in Champion sports.
    (20% off all ASICS this weekend in Champion sports)

    €32 for a decent pair of running shoes seems to good to be true ?

    Can anyone think of a reason why I shouldn't go for the boys ones.

    Also, are the Gel 2160 noticable better quality ?


    I have had gait analysis and taken advice from my physio about the type of runners I should wear, and the Gel 1160 the right "type".
    I am training for a half marathon and doing about 30Km a week, which will ramp up a bit in the next 10 weeks.
