I think Barca will win but Arsenal will score so they'll have to score 3 to go through.

I predict a draw, and Arsenal get their showers on the pitch after the game.;)

The head says Barca, the heart says Arsenal. It should be quite the occasion. The injuries make it even more intriguing.

And Valdes legging it over to Wenger to try to stop him celebrating

Gonna go to the off licence and get a few drinks, and then enjoy possibly the best game of the competition.

Just noticed that the match is on tv3, anyone know if they steam their matches on their website?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 12,832 ✭✭✭✭Blatter

    My prediction:

I think Barca will start this like a house on fire. Wave after wave of attack and cut Arsenal to shreds. Arsenal won't get a kick. Barca will be leading 2/3-0 at half time and kill the game off after the restart. Messi, Villa to score and Pedro to get a couple.

Im not sure he will either and i think the players know the team already but does no harm to keep barca guessing i suppose.

The squad lists had to be handed to UEFA by 6:30pm so if anyone can find it on the net we will have an idea.

Rosicky, failing upwards! Guess Wenger wants him to track back. Slightly better chance of him doing it than Arshavin I guess.

    Masch to get sent off.:pac:

Would be better off playing Eboue as far as I'm concerned.

Half tempted to back 3-3 @ 100/1 for fun.

I'd have thought Arshavin would have been invaluable on the break tonight.

Arshavin is lazy as fúck, Arsenal need 11 commited players on the pitch tonight.

cant wait for this......its been in my head all week 3-0 barca, unrealistic you might say but should be a cracking game anyway!!!

I would have thought he would have played seeing as he scored the winner last time too.

Very surprising. Maybe he is carrying a knock of some sorts.

Was it at the Camp Nou last season that Arshavin went off "injured" and the RTE panel reckoned he "didn't fancy it"?

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,254 ✭✭✭shano_88

No real width either. Nasri and Rosicky will cut in alot.

I don't know, but where ever this supposedly happened, I'm sure RTE were talking through their hole as usual.

I have to be honest, it looked that way to me before RTE even mentioned it. He seemed phased by it all.

nope, that was in the emirates. Arshavin rarely looks like hes interested really!

Van Persie starts that's a big boost for Arsenal

Not if he goes after 5 minutes with a torn hamstring and misses the rest of the season:pac:

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,435 ✭✭✭✭redout

Adriano gets the nod at LB ahead of Maxwell the only change of note.

Cant help but seeing it being a struggle with Mascherano in midfield - its effectively a player less in the build up and Barca need goals.

Come half-time if there aint much happening I would bring on Milito and put Busquets into midfield.

2 strikers on Arsenal bench, Wenger means business! Surprised at Rosicky ahead of Arshavin though.

True. I'll probably just watch it on the streaming site I subscribe to though.
