Yep alot of "Reader's Offers" are unbelievably overpriced. Why the IT do not do a bit of research on them is amazing.

All the "offers" are a third party company unconnected with the IT.

Last year they had a Grow It Sunflower kit for €29.99. I was selling it at the standard price for €14.99, Debenhams were €19.99 and it was £12.99 in the UK.

Problem is, there are a good few "suppliers". Some are reasonably good value like Mr Midleton for the garden stuff whilst the example above show how some are taking the p1ss.

That's madness OP. We (Peats) have been selling what is essentially the same thing for €25 for ages:

There are two possible reasons that the IT version is so expensive. It could be that their supplier is charging them more than they should be.

It's also possible that they feel their customers won't question the product they recommend and the price it's being sold at.
