Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Unless you're heading over to the states yourself, they're not worth buying off the EU site or shipping over. In fact, I don't even think you can get them shipped over.

Bear in mind, they were built to be cheap, efficient lights. They've loads of fancy names and cool sounding gadgets, but tbh, you're better off going with Profoto, Elinchrom or Bowens.

I use Elinchrom. If money was no object, I'd use Profoto. Bear in mind, availibility (especially at short notice) of modifiers is a big thing when you're looking at buying lights. Having to import in a large softbox at short notice won't be fun - At least if you're with one of the more regular brands here in the EU, you'll be able to get something to rent or buy with a short drive to down, or next day delivery at most!

The prices will come down in a few years. The European site is only set up in the last year so i'd say they're costs are very high atm.
