You kind of have to drop all brain cells at the door the second you start watching. It's absolutely ridiculous. If they actually got each episode up to the standard that they end them on, then that might be something.
Seriously it feels like they just write crap, and then the last 5mins of each episode they throw in something beautiful, well written and worthwhile.

Gregory Harrison cast as Gemma's father....what's interesting is on the recent episode they had a stand-in/different actress playing Gemma in the flashback!....so does this mean Gemma is really dead?

Right lads, i'm officially DONE with this show....i gave it more then a fair shot. I watched ep. 8/9 last night and while it appears Gemma is alive a locked up in a basement, the show is going nowhere...slowly. It's just a badly written and horibuly acted show.

You can see the writers are STRUGGLING to even find ideas and plots to get 22 episodes, let alone multiple seasons. I have decided enough is enough...i'm dropping it, first CW show in years i've given up on.

I kind of agree Richard. It's still watchable but I don't know where it's going! By my reading, we don't really know why Siobhan is in France and a few weeks ago the plan was to kill Brigid but now they're putting up with her?

It does seem to be wandering from one convoluted plot to the next alright.

Just seen Gemma in a Snow Patrol music video

The one thing this show has going for it for me is the hot guys and now Cas (Supernatural) joining yummy , I couldnt care less about Siobhan and Bridget's story

What did anyone think of Ringer? I think the best part was the good o'l swinging Buffy punch. I feel though that this episode suffered the same problem the first episode did which is it was an extremely slow episode but needed to get the foundation for the next 11 episodes going because Ringer is like two chapters, Episode 1 - 10 was the beginning and the "Gemma" chapter and when we find out Siobhan is in New York it's just feeling very slow. They can't drag Siobhan hiding for like 10 episodes because Agent Machado and Bridget are onto her..

Anyone now if any Irish network is going to pick up Ringer? I mean I know TV3 likes picking up cancelled shows (Cold case) and RTE is a CBS, ABC FOX person. TG4 maybe?

Yep, I'm out too. What a waste of talent(Poloha in particular). I can't understand why the CW insist on promoting this so much. If you're going to do soap opera at least make it enjoyable like Revenge.

Not surprised. It really never went anywhere, just from one conspiracy to another. I would probably have stopped watching soon enough myself. I actually don't care about the show anymore. Looks like Jaime Murray will have to get the CV out again though!

You posted something similar about Alcatraz. No where in that article does it say it is cancelled. It says season finale, not series finale and only says they are showing episodes without a break.

Now it probably will be cancelled,because of ratings and because its rubbish. Alcatraz was only a mid season show,hence why it ends soon enough,again might be cancelled,but you need to stop making posts saying a show is finished until that has been confirmed.

Im still loving this show. Watched the latest 2 episodes last night. My brain is hurting from all the twists and turns . Just when you think you have someone figured out somethign else happens and you are not sure if they are the good guy or the bad guy.

Havnt a clue how all this is going to finish out though. At this stage it wouldnt surprise me if Andrew knew all along that Siobhan is Bridget

More woeful ratings, but from forum comments/reviews it does seem the last few episode have been very good, like the best yet + lots of drama, show gone dark etc.

The pace of this show since it returned after Xmas has been incredible. Each week brings new twists and turns that I honestly never see coming-Incredible. Im not sure if the premise on which the show is based really lends to a second season-Might be better just as a stand alone once off kind of thing. But If it keeps up the pace, it certainly will go out with a bang.

No friggin way. I have to say this show is one of my guilty pleasures but I wont be too disappointed to see it cancelled-provided it gets a proper ending. If this is true I might as well stop watching now. :mad:

Have to say this is one of the shows I have been following, and was enjoying. The twists and turns seem to be getting a little bit far fetched now..

Not sure if I will give another season a go......that's if it gets another season....!!! Hope the season answer brings some of the stories to a close

I love buffy and smg I tried too get into ringer but its terriable its so cheesy! IMO alison hannigan is in waaaaay better series than smg, watch how i met your mother its brilliant!

...However it's currently the Season finale. In May it's the decision wether the show continues or gets ditched.... LETS HOPE it doesn't get ditched!

Watched the lastest episode last night. Did not see the lesbian bit coming AT all. I was pleasantly surprised .

How convinient that the chamber maid was also a high class hooker and is now dead.

I love how bonkers the show has become over the last couple of weeks. Cant believe there is only one episode left

I don't think it's coming back. FWIW I think the finale sort of left it somewhere it could end. I'd just completely lost interest in that show. The plot was getting more and more OTT as things went on!

Seen the last part of the current series.
I'm glad one got FINALLY to know of the others still existence - but still, it was a deflating episode.
In closing up the current last episode, they have only now evn complicated other issues in the program - although I can see they are trying to introduce new threads that might be explored (if there is a second series) - but in generally trying to keep the show moving, they are leaving some matters too simple and far over complication others.

I hope, if there is a second series, that they readjust how they approach some topics in this show and put them across.
some stuff is just getting tiresome to say the least.

This is officially cancelled Never been more gutted in my life!

It was such an awesome show! All I wanted was a showdown between the twins. Was that so much to ask? At least that way it would have had a satisfying ending.

Delighted it was cancelled!...as many have said, she was a terrible actress!...when you compare Alexandra Chando on The Lying Game vs. Ringer....Chando was streets ahead playing twins!
