Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    RTÉ Radio One now.

Following the campaign trails of Conor Lenihan and Charlie O'Connor around Tallaght.

Best piece of radio I've heard in a long time. Proof that politicians really do need a thick skin.

    Listen back if you can.

Not for those who are sensitive to foul language!

I'm listening to it right now. It's certainly no fun canvassing if you're a Fianna Fail goon. You're practically taking your life in your hands. The fact that they're down to only 20 seats in the Dail is a small indication of just how hacked off people are with them.

I didn't think it was possible to dislike Conor Lenihan more than I already did, I was wrong.

    Well worth listening to... http://www.rte.ie/radio1/doconone/

I thought he came off ok in it. He was fairly honest and didnt disagree with people when they were giving out to him. He only replied when people started getting abusive.

It would be an interesting follow up next time to follow Hayes and Rabbitte, I expect they will be in line for the same grief when the cuts come in.

The people of Dublin South West are a fickle bunch ;)

I'm pretty sure I'd never heard of Charlie O'Connor before this. Did he ever appear in the media or do anything of note?

Lol. the guy who lets him know "yous are all fcuked" was brilliant.

Conors "we will have to bring our handguns next time" shows just how much of a gambeen he is.

    LOL so funny
