Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Im considering getting a scooter. Im 17yo girl. I need to get to and from school and also to work during the summer months.
My commute would be between Lucan and Tallaght.I was looking at 50c scooters, and insurance seems to be under 1000 euro when i checked on quinn insurance site.
Just wondering what is neccessary before i can legally be on the road.
Is the road really that dangerous for motorbikes?
    Any advice would be appreciated.

See the getting started info sheet on www.magireland.org although I don't know for sure if all of those requirements apply for using a moped or if they're for bikes (A/A1) license only. Regardless of what kind of bike you get it makes a lot of sense to get trained properly.
