Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I currently use homeplugs to get my interent signal from my modem beside the pc through the house wiring to my PS3. However thats not much use for my iPhone or my wife's laptop. So despite my misgivings about wifi and dropped signals (this is why the homeplugs have suited me to date), I want to know if its possible to have a wifi set up in conjunction with my existing system, i.e. can I run a cable from the existing Netgear modem to a wifi box?

    Thanks

If you get a wireless router it will send Wifi signals while you can also plug your homeplugs into it.

My pc is 7 years old and doesn't have a wireless card. Would this be a problem with a wireless router or can I hard wire the pc to the router via an ethernet cable? Sorry if I'm missing something simple here but I'm quickly being left behind in the technology race:o

A wireless router is the same as a normal one except it sends wifi. my Wireless router has 4 Ethernet cable ports in the back and i have my PC plugged into it and the wireless does laptops and phones and another pc i have. I picked mine up on Adverts for about 20 yoyo.

You can just add a wireless access point to your existing setup.
