Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Does this Sat box exist?

Is there a Sat box out there that can do this?

I would like to have a Sat unit that would take my SKY card and allow me to choose which channels I wanted and where I wanted.

I would be great If the unit also had FTA Terrestrial Digital reception also.

Is there anything out there that would come close?

    Thanks.

    Well theres a slingbox!

It streams the channels over the net for you!

    Google it..

But i'm not quite sure what you want..

Can you explain a bit more?

You want to use your card in another house without moving the sky box?

Yes, but none of them is official and all require a bit of tinkering. None is guaranteed to keep working.

    Increasing in price:

A number of the combo sat/DTT combo boxes can be reprogrammed with a hacked firmware to read Sky cards. No 7 day epg e.g. Edision Argus. Not sure if it will update the card and keep it alive or not?

QBox Mini has integrated cardreader and can read Sky cards with a software plugin and keeps card alive. You can configure them with 1x sat and 1x DTT tuner and have 7 day epg. Boards thread:

Vuo Duo is similar to above but higher spec 2x sat tuner, internal card reader, DTT using USB device and internal HDD.
