Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Very interesting video.

Not sure if I'd be quite as relaxed about the situation myself.

Very interesting. Kinda cool, if a little creepy.

Seen this on fstoppers today. He's taking it fairly well...

    That's mad.

He's been a contact of mine on Flickr for ages now (don't know the guy personally). That picture was his icon for a long time. Sad to see things like this happen. Worse still is that he's resigned to do nothing about it too.

That said I've two friends awaiting payment from Hotpress for use of several images. The Dubliner seems to lift images regularly from blogs (see last weeks Choice Music Award issue where you can still make out the photographers logo/stamp on one pic) and I myself am awaiting payment from the Examiner for over three months. Not a big a deal as this guy's ordeal, but it's a universal problem.

    Did you invoice?

The Examiner has a cut off point every month, it used to be the 25th but it moves, once in the system you're waiting just short of three months.

Also their picture usage fee is down to just €50 now too.

I invoiced at the time and every subsequent month. Emailed the 'contact us' page there a week back and was told it would be dealt with immediately. No word back. Will e-mail every tomorrow morning again, I think.
