He must want to impersonate a manager after impersonating a player when he was on the field.

    I watched the first half.
Torres didn't get into it IMO.
How's he been second half? Seriously

He's hanging around the area, hoping to get a pass or anything
Had one reasonable chance but went to place it, when it needed power.
Looks a shadow of the player he once was:(
Chelsea team are trying to get it to him rather than score themselves

Worse. Something seriously wrong with the man. I said it ages ago but his love/joy for the game looks lost.

Sounds like everyone is aware of it and if they forget about it then it could happen.
He was running around first half but didn't look passionate.

Is that Kevin Phillips co-commentating for Sky?

"Great finish to the game , if Blackpool can score here we will have a great finish to the game"

He has said some stupid stuff,

Sky really are scraping the barrel.

I really hope so, because to be honest, he shouldnt be on the pitch, he looks absolutely hopeless

Malouda has gone for Glory every time instead of passing .

Torres has been beyond brutal , he will still be a Chelsea legend :D

You can't pass to someone who isn't running.

Great effort from Blackpool in the end. Really hope they stay up. Bring great entertainment.

Torres has been non-existant in this game.

    Some miss by Kalou :D

Nothing classic but I'd take a 3-1 away anyway.

Dedicate that win to Berba and Spurs.

I think Blackpool's survival push might go to the last day
Its going to get harder for them with the pressure on

Happy with the 3 points, not with the complete switch off in the past 15mins.
Don't think Anelka will be benched for the next game, Kalou has given Carlo food for thought tonight.

And then Kalou goes and does his usual ,

Open goal and blasts it 20 yards over !

He has done that sort of thing a few times this season when we were in dire need of a goal

How long will it take until Torres is benched?

    ;)

Good win but crap performance. Much Better from lamps all round but Torres went backwards IMO.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,487 ✭✭✭Mister men

Genuinely thought Torres would score today. I'd be worried if i was a Chelsea fan, also taking into account his sh1te performances for us last season and this and in the World Cup.

This goes further than just a run of form. Would'nt be surprised to see him benched for the next league game as Chelsea have a genuine chance of winning the title now and in no way can they afford passengers.

Carlo must have been watching a different match!

Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti: "It was a good performance and an important result. Salomon Kalou helped us a lot and played very well. Fernando Torres and Didier Drogba played well overall, they were dangerous and I think they played a good game."

The good thing is we have daylight between us and Spurs as well as the possibilty of moving ahead of Man City

Luiz was a lot more disclipined, although at fault for the goal I thought, got turned far too easily

at that stage the whole team hit the collective snooze button, even Terry allowed Beattie to get close towards the end of the game.

Us Liverpool supporters used to scare ourselves before bedtime by thinking about Torres and Drogba playing together. Hard to believe that now.

Hilarious knee jerking from the Scousers in here tbh. All of a sudden his World Cup performances are fair game. LOL.
