    the story behind a bizarre 2-hour incident that occured in january 2007, disrupting ATMs, Air and Sea Traffic, Phones and Pagers, etc.

    Very interesting read. The whole incident was caused by a navy exercise with signal jamming. They unintentionally disrupted GPS signals, which as the article will highlight for you, is not just a fancy thing fancy people have in their cars anymore: it's integral to modern technology at this point. Making the retirement of the current GPS system in a few years a bit of a concern really.
