Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

IPhone 3GS can't get Internet outside house

My friend has a 32g 3GS. He's with meteor and has discovered that he can't get the Internet outside his house. It's fine inside, he can pick up wifi in his house and other peoples but when he leaves his house he has no connection. His has a meteor data package. His sim works in other iPhones and has no trouble picking up the Internet. Thing is I bought this for him on adverts and I put my own 02 sim in it and it worked fine for me. Is he missing a setting on the phone? Anyone any ideas?

He has those settings already in it. Anything else it could be?

Thanks, I haven't tried, we're on different sides of the city and I'm getting messages through a friend! As far as I know he has cellular data turned on. Any other ideas? :o

Some more info - he gets the message "could not activate cellular data network". "you are not subscribed to a cellular data service". He is and he can use his sim in another iPhone to access the internet but their sim
won't work in his? All the settings seem to be correct? Any ideas?

I contacted Meteor technical support but they won't give me any help because I'm not the account holder  Has anyone come across this before?

You think I'd be on here if he would? :p He's a middle aged technophobic man and he's embarrassed to ring them!
