Humax Freesat PVR vs satellite dish

Recently moved into rented accomodation which has a satellite dish on the side of the house so I took the plunge and bought a Humax Freesat HD PVR. Plugged her in last night but no signal to be found and none of the London postcodes I tried worked either. Tried a manual tune but again there was no signal found so my question is how do I go about sourcing the problem?

I'm guessing the fault lies either with the dish alignment or perhaps with a dodgy lnb. So how do I go about realigning the dish and/or replacing the lnb?
