Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Satellite Installers in Cork

    Hi guys..
I'm looking to have some cables moved,so I can move My Dreambox.

I have a quad LNB,with 2 points being used for sky plus. I also have an old mmds aerial with 2 feeds from it,with one of these located in an upstairs bedroom. With the mmds no longer in use,I want to get the 2 cables from that to be plugged into the 2 spare ports of the quad LNB.

Any Satellite installers around Cork who would be up for doing this? Or can anyone recommend someone to do it? Providing both cables reach the LNB (I know one does),there is very little work involved. At the most, the other might need a little extension to make it reach.

For the record,I don't have,or have access to a ladder. I'm living on the southside of Cork City.

Also,Any idea of what cost I'd be looking at for this?

    Thanks.

    Thanks Jaggie...

Any idea of cost?? Did you get a lot of work done? Complete install etc...?

I got sky in and upgraded the dish, i think the total cost was around 120/130 we had feeds from the attic to all the rooms already so it was a matter of hooking up the sat + aerial to 3 or 4 rooms, installing the dish and all the additional parts like splitters and combiners - very tidy job. Give them a call they should be able to give you a ball park figure.

+1 for Satellite Solutions, Ian the owner is on here, his username is Rippy. He's actually brilliant at what he does, I had a complicated enough request for a Sat setup 2 years ago, and he flew through it.

I'll give a +1 on Signal Solutions too - impeccable job, clean, tidy, fastidious service. There may be cheaper installers out there but I doubt there are better.
