    Lads,

was wondering what your recommendations are for a TV stand/Rack

Need to be able to hold a 40 LCD plus also take the weight/have the air clearance for the Onkyo TX SR608 amp (as well as various other bits and bobs, ie xbox/router/modem etc )

want to get everything moved this weekend so any ideas would be great.
what kind of availability would you have in the Philips shop in Dublin ??

also, spotted this on another post, is this available in the Dublin shop ??

    "Philips SPN7820 8 way surge protector & Multiblock at £14.95 / Boardie deal £10.99."

    cheers

    MrT

    Mr Tre,

have a look at the Icon Aero Plus - this is a really substantial Black glass unit with a built in bracket for a 40"+ unit http://www.amazon.co.uk/Icon-Aero-4250-Floating-Bracket/dp/B0015CBTWA (sorry about the Amazon link!) - we were clearing in in our recent sale at a M A D £79.95.

We only have a few of these really tip-top quality racks remaining so don't delay!

On the SPN7820's we do have these in The Philips Shop and they are great value!

    Keep me posted,

    Hi MrT

Thanks for the phone call re the stand - Just ran a tape measure over one of 'em and here are the measurements that we discussed -

Between the wood base to lower glass shelf = 5.5cm
Between lower and uper glass shelves = 20cm
Max width of glass shelves = 102cm
Max depth of glass shelves = 43cm (the glass sheves are curved as you can see in the image so this depth falls off towards the edges)
Max width between the front metal supports = 94cm

Happy to let you see one in the flesh so you can judge it if you call in
