Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,
Can i claim the tax back for the last year i have been working in Ireland is the question??

I joined an english company in April 2010. I worked from april to November in ireland paid in euro and paying Irish taxes. As work dried up in ireland for me the company asked me to morve to the UK. So from November 2010 to present I have been working in the UK earning the queens shilling and paying taxes here...

So can i now reclaim tax paid in ireland??
    Thanks for help in advance..

    Hi.

It is likely that you will be entitled to some refund of your Irish Tax due to the fact that everyones tax credits and standard rate bands are given to them on the basis that they will be working for the full year in Ireland. Therefore you will have not received the benefit of all your ax credits. You can claim this refund using PAYE anytime https://www.revenue.ie/selfservice/enterRegistrationDetails.faces.

If you need any assitance please pm me as it is an area I specialise in.
