WWII Medal Restoration

My grandad, who served the whole 6yrs in WWII passed away last March, the only thing i wanted of his was his medals, which i got. Is there any place in Dublin that will restore medals? Like the Ribbons etc?? I don't really want to trust them in the hands of the postal service
