Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The other day i came acroos an online shop that has prices that look too good to be true yet the site looks extremely slick and it even has finance options.

Was thinking of buying a new camera some time in next couple of months and a tripod and very tempted by this site as prices are cheapest i have seen and yet i never came across them until th eother day.

If anyone knows about them i would appreciate opinions.

I think you have answered your own question.
If anyone knows about them i would appreciate opinions.

I'm guessing they are in Russia or the Baltic region and the domain name
    was registered very recently.

    traceroute firstcameras.net
    11 dagger.colocat.ru (85.112.126.90)

The server is in Russia. No surprises there.

All camera shops should be considered as potential scammers until
proven otherwise. Check very carefully before you order a camera
from any on-line seller. Very low prices always indicate some kind of
scam. Scam sites generally claim to be in the UK, but they never are.
The nice smart web page is stolen from a legitimate site. The address
is bogus, the telephone number connects to an answering service.
The claim to accept all major credit cards is also bogus. I'm sure
they will happily take your credit card number, expiry date and
security code if you are foolish enough to provide that information.
What they really want is for you to pay for a non-existent camera
    by wire transfer.
