Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Morning folks,

Having a problem with my laptop keyboard, no keys are working apart from 'T' & 'Y' and a odd few numeric keys.
Any ideas on what I could check?

Stickykeys is switched off so I am at a lost as to what else is causing it...

Try getting a can of compressed air and spraying around the affected areas in short bursts. There could be just tiny bits of dirt which would prevent the keys from making contact with the keyboard circuitry.

Did you spill something on it?
Did it stop working suddenly or has it been happening for a while?

    What is the laptop model?
What is the operating system installed?
    What were your regional settings?

Silly question but have you rebooted and tested?

    Thanks for the times,

Nothing has been spilt on the keyboard (that I am aware off)
All the keys are fine, they are not sticking or anything like that.
    All regional settings are correct.

Computer is a Dell Inspiron 1011
    Op System is Windows Vista.

Just checked again only keys that are currently working are t,y,5,6,[]

Cant even do a system restore or try something like that becasue ctrl and F11 keys dont work

Try holding down the function (Fn) and pressing shift or CTRL, that might do it.
