Anyone know why East Road was closed last night?

Was making my way home from the Southside last night circa 10:30pm, just at the time that Justin Bieber was ending, and tried getting up the East Road but was stopped by Gardai. There were about 5 Garda cars blocking the road (at the crossroads of Sheriff Street and East Road by the large apartment block) with a 'Dublin…

Was making my way home from the Southside last night circa 10:30pm, just at the time that Justin Bieber was ending, and tried getting up the East Road but was stopped by Gardai. There were about 5 Garda cars blocking the road (at the crossroads of Sheriff Street and East Road by the large apartment block) with a 'Dublin Bus' parked as if abandoned and a few Gardai on it.

Anyone know what happened?
