Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anyone know where I'd get a good deal on a Lensbaby Composer in Dublin city center? Would I just be better off buying online?

Oh, and if they're actually worth the money? :)

No idea where to buy one or if they are any good but just be aware that there is a new Lensbaby set to hit the market soon -

Yeah, I know all about that. It's already on back order apparently. I'm happy with the regular double glass optic though. The new one is 35mm (and very expensive for what it is), while the regular one is 50mm.

Have the Muse, although wish I had gone for Composer or better, still love the results, just a little harder to use

I have one of the classic Lensbabies.. not the original where you only adjusted by hand (kind of like the scout but older).. but basically that with a set of 3 machines so you can actually fix the position and repeat a result. (the composer has this ability as well.)

Does anyone know if I can use the attachments etc.. for my old Lensbaby with the composer?

You have the 3G, same as I have - You can use the wide angle/telephoto/macro screw-in attachments, but not the various glass/plastic/pinhole/zone place elements, unfortunately, you'd have to upgrade to the composer for that.

I was asking if I could my attachments on the composer... not if if I could use composer attachments with mine. ;) (and yes.. it is the 3G.. I don't know why I couldn't think of it before.)

I have the drop-in "creative" aperture kit, macro, wide angle, extra-wide angle etc.. for it. (Most of them are screw-on items, or drop-in.)

Ah ok! Got it the wrong way around. As far as I know, they've all got the same size threads so you should be able to.

So, did any of you guys actually buy your Lensbabies in Dublin? If so, where?

No, and tbh, I've never seen them in Dublin. Give Gunns a ring and see if they have them in stock or can order them in - 01 478 1226 - They'd be most likey to either have them or get them in, in my opinion.
