Wow,The last time something like this occurred in Chernobyl The Government in The Irish Republic ordered its people to stay indoors!

No they didnt. In fact if anything the Government played the whole thing down and denied there was anything to worry about.

If he doesn't move himself, nature will move him soon enough.

If they can't get the core temperature down under stable the reactor's shielding will do a lot of the work in minimizing the damage.

Nail meet head. Chernobyl failed because the reactor's "shield" was made of flammable material and not even the engineers working in the plant knew that ffs.

Indonesia will be hit a lot worse than Japan; their infrastructure will be nowhere near as good as japans.

Heres the water coming back in on CNN now in Hawaii

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,972 ✭✭✭Degag

True what they said on SN, if it wasn't for the infrastructure in Japan, for a 8.9 quake, it could have been much worse. Of course we don't know the full extent of it yet though...

The scale of this thing is breathtaking. One can only wonder what dawn in Japan will bring.

Well, if you call 'dying mysteriously in mass amounts all over the world months beforehand' 'predicting it,' maybe.

I joke, but I do wonder if they are actually related somehow to the recent spate of natural disasters.
