Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Has anyone any idea what kind of bird this is? It's been wandering around outside my garden for the past few days.

A pigeon of some indeterminate species. AKA a 'flying rat'.

    Had to look this up...
Would they be known as this in Wicklow?

They are unknown in Wicklow.... more a creature of the big city. :D
Its what happens when your fancy pedigree pigeon crossbreeds with some other type.

Haven't heard that saying in a very long time, a real Dub term, just brilliant..:)

My dad used to call all pigeons "Gickna's", probably because they poo allover the place.... :D
