    Given that they are not worried about Tokyo, a few hundred kilometers away, then I think you'll be safe in Australia!

    Nope, even if there were a big leak what happens in the northern hemisphere, stays in the northern hemisphere.

    As chap on channel 9 said tonight - worst case senario is the same as having 5 scans in hospital re: radiation. so hopefully he knows what he is talking about (off to buy lead vests)

    I'm closing this thread, as not much to talk about (when I write this) as the explosion was just that, no melt down
