Could the fallout from the nucleur explosion in Japan reach Australia?

    Apparently its not going to be another chernobyl but it is very unsettling all the same.

    Given that they are not worried about Tokyo, a few hundred kilometers away, then I think you'll be safe in Australia!

    Nope, even if there were a big leak what happens in the northern hemisphere, stays in the northern hemisphere.

    As chap on channel 9 said tonight - worst case senario is the same as having 5 scans in hospital re: radiation. so hopefully he knows what he is talking about (off to buy lead vests)
