Clonakilty - David Mitchell

Hi all I recently finished "Cloud Atlas" by David Mitchell and it truly is a wonderful book. After looking at its author's wikipedia page, I can see he (David Mitchell) lives in Clonakilty. If any of you live in Clonakilty and have read his work, have you met him and told him so? How did he react? Cheers
