Anyone seen them yesterday? They had buckets with the "collecting for the homeless" on them.

Id doubt they were registered & that any of that money finds its way to a worthy cause.

If I see them there today, I will be reporting them:mad:

Call Gardai. Collectors have to get a permit from the local Garda HQ. Generally the only ones that don't have permits are the dodgy ones. Gardai can ask for production of the permit, and make them leave the area if they don't have one......Not sure what happens to the money already collected.

the ones outside the crescent did have a permit from the guards for collecting on the street, however they were kicked off crescent property as they didn't have authorisation from crescent management to collect there.

They were out on the road around the traffic lights, they were not collecting for charity

well, when they were challenged they were able to produce a valid permit issued by the guards...
