If you have more than one number with a network they seem to class them as "multi-line" numbers. These can take up to 24 hours to port. Make sure you tell the network you're porting to if you have more than one number with the network you're leaving.

From bitter experience - have been trying to port from Meteor to Tesco since Thursday (currently 4 days without my number)
