Ooooh we get our own thread.

Last chance saloon for SWP imo.

I've stuck a few quid on De Jong to score any time at 25/1. Has to happen at some stage!

Winner gets to play Utd :)

Fancy City strongly here. Think Readings run of good results against PL teams about to come to an end.

City, if they win, will be at home to utd. I reckon this will be replay at 2-2 and reading will progress through ..

The semi-finals are at Wembley as The FA need the money to cover the cost of the over budget stadium.

**** it anyway, dream final is gone :( I know there's still reading and a Semi final before we got to the Final but who wasnt thinking it! Balls

Nightmare more like. I'd top myself if we lost to them in a final. Couldn't think of anything worse so semis wil do me just fine.

Same here, nightmare scenario. similar to the possiblility of a Utd Liverpool CL final a few years back when Utd beat Chelsea in the final. City will break the 35 year jinx enough. Don't want Utd involved on that day

    We wouldnt lose!

Ah no i get what your saying, was probably just thinking about how it would feel if we actually won! But ye your right, the cons outweigh the pros!!

And is De Jong not 25/1 first goalscorer? He's 9/1 anytime i thought?

Yep 25/1 any time and 64/1 for first scorer (Betfair).

Jesus thats savage... If there was only one way to love that man more it would be seeing him stick one in the back of the net for ya so!

Im expecting another resonably uninspiring performence but we get through in the end... Prediction?

3-1 to us, and one where we get the 3rd in the last ten to seal it, but it could have gone either way till then! Hard to see us not conceeding these days! :(

That Silva fella can pick a pass.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,169 ✭✭✭JohnnyRyan99

Can we shoot from somewhere else on the field please! Skillz there from Silva though!

    David Silva, excellent player.

He is an example to use when proving that stats can be over rated. He may not score a lot or make an assist in every game but his Footballing intelligence/ball retention/first touch/passing/movement is all top class.

I'd be interested to see how many goals he creates indirectly through making space for others with his movement/key passes in a build up to a goal etc.
