    Jerk tech work 20kg
    Clean and jerk: up to 65kg for a rather good one legged jerk, then pressed out single at 68kg because felt like I damaged my right qwaad some more then back to 61kg for some clean doubles.
    Powersnatch: up to 41kg for silly light single then back to 37kg for silly light doubles
    Frontsquats: doubles at 60kg, 64kg, 68kg, 72kg, 76kg
    snatch grip speed deadlifts: 55kg for triples

    Monday 10th October 2011
    Jerk tech work 20kg
    Power snatch: up to 41kg for single.
    Clean and jerk: up to 57kg for triple
    Clean: up to 68kg for 2 singles. First was slow and sloppy (lazy) but then I remembered who I am and the 2nd one was beyond piss.
    Fsquat: 60kg for doubles.

    Easy day today as I'm tapering. I'm going to go home and do some spring cleaning to try dissipate some of this extra energy that I've created out of nothing.

    Snatch: up to 49kg for single which felt reealy good!
    Power clean: up to 53kg for single.
    Fsquats: 50kg for doubles
    Stretched. Oh holy moly there was stretching. Gonna write an opera about it to do it justice.

    Cork is out. Stupid Kidney infection and fainting spells. Six months of preparation fecked. Can't even train for the next few days. Boo. Ah well, there'll be other comps and hopefully by then, the quad will be up to scratch too.

    Monday 17th October 2011

    Feeling bit better especially now I can get back to training.
    Jerk tech work 25kg
    Snatch up to 55kg for easy single, then got greedy and failed the hell out of 56kg and 57kg
    Powerclean up to 66kg for an American High School single. I reckon I pulled it high enough. Vid later. Think that's a few kg pr anyway, not too sure.
    Fsquat 60kg for few fives. Fairly unremarkable, vid later
    Sldl up to 16kg for hamsandwiches
    Abs and stretching.
    Now I'm off to pasture for a few more days. I'll keep rocking the abz and stretching in the meantime.

    Goodie you are all better, can't keep a good woman down! I'll be around next week. Got lectures and stuff all this week for me test on Sun, but then I'm a free for some lifting all winter long!

    Wednesday 19th October

    Tipped away at Fsquats and good mornings because I was pleased at the unexpected occurrence of a squat rack in my hotel gym.
    Had a bit of a splash in the pool yesterday and a bit of a wander around the town. Back to reality tomorrow but I'm just going to mess around and play with weights for The rest of the week anyway. I'm liking this brief unplanned interval. Anything can happen, I might even powerlift! Play time!! :)

    70kg backsquats 3 x 3. Think the 3rd rep of sets 1&2 is a little bit manky but the rest are okay and they're not hurting my hips.

    Deadlifted to 110kg. IDIBISPLDI. Stopped because I remembered I'm supposed to test max snatch on Monday. Woops! It didn't feel heavy anyway so prolly be okay. Sometimes I miss deadlifting.

    Snatch: up to 55kg for a snappy single
    Powerclean: up to 63kg for 2 easy singles
    Front squats: up to 90kg for a single. Fairly easy. Not very pretty but alright I suppose. There's plenty more there, just not with strict good form and I don't want my hips to explode again. Vids later.
    Bulgarians: 35kg for 3 x 5
    Must remember to abs and stretch when I get home.

    Jerk tech work 25kg
    Clean and jerked up to a great 71kg, then cleaned 74kg but felt the channel change and wussed out of anymore in light of recent less-than-perfect-health. I am chicken.
    Powersnatch: got 52kg for a single
    Backsquat: 110kg for a single then ran out of time. Easy enough. Vids of all on the way.
    Then hamsandwiches and abz and stretched.

    Snatch: up to 55kg (f x 2) 56kg (f) 56kg (got it but rough as a.... something something)
    Powerclean: up to 63kg for a single
    BSquat: up to 115kg for a single. Rather easy, pretty sure 120kg still there anyway. Form not strictly perfect (vid later) but still much better than the best of my old tech and no hip pain so grand.
    Bulgarians: 40kg for 5s
    abz and stretching

    Bulgarians seem to have sorted the hip problem. I <3 Bulgarian squats

    Clean and jerk: Up to 70kg for 2 jerk fails (pressed) and a grand auld single. Must open my eyes when jerking.
    Deadlift: up to 130kg, easy. Failed 135kg after my left hand exploded, damn grip. It's s**t and I hate myself. Pity coz I'd gotten it through the sticking point fairly handy too.
    Abz, hamsandwiches and stretching. No vids today.
