Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Sky box stuck on stand by

    HI ALL,
    I have an old Pace Sky box which is stuck on stand by-I have done a reset or software update but it still wont come on with the remote or any of the buttons on the front..Is there anything else I can do before I dump it to see if it will work?

    Have you unplugged it? If not do so, count to 10 and plug in back in.

    Yes Mike, I have tried this numerous times. Even when it says it is updating software on screen I wait a few minutes and it is still stuck in stand by....

    It is a Standard box, model Pace BSKYB 250083,

    Your box needs replacing, contact Sky for a service call, they'll charge you just over €100. Alternatively I'll swap the box out for you for €60, I can post it out to you if you're confident its just the box.:)

    That 2500B3 must be a decade old. Trash it. :)
    You can get a much newer model off eBay for a tenner.
