Problem with getting broadband on a new line

    Ive just had a new line put in and as part of the install I was moved from the Bray exchange to the local Enniskerry exchange which is a few hundred meters away (The local engineer walked to my house while installing the line!).

    Now after a week the line is showing up on the eircom Gateway as 'Non Standard Install/No Test results - 1024Connect)' so I am only being offered the 1Mb product by frontline Eircom sales which looks like a catchall product for a line hanging off an enabled exchange with unknown characteristics..

    I need a static IP and much higher cap than the 10GB one offered on the 1Mb product, I have asked for an individual line test but so far have not had any change in status.

    I feel like I've fallen through a crack here - Eircom support guys - is there anything you can do to assist? (I can pm the required details if you think you can).

    Can't you just order the 1MB package then upgrade once installed? That was what I did.

    I just got a call back from Eircom and my line is capable of the full adsl 1 productset.
