Early support came from Fredde le Grand, Kyau & Albert and Dave Spoon. This early exposure led too him being approached by Paul Oakenfold's"Perfecto Records" for remix duties.

    PODIUM & TRANSMISSION PRESENTS

    ****DISCO DJ SET

    The Pod
    Saturday March 19th
    Doors 11pm
    FREE before 12, €8 after

Transmission Dj’s, who hold a residency every Saturday at PODIUM, bring you a very special guest this week in the shape of old favourites: ****DISCO. Their Dj sets have become notorious nights of pure energy, boozing and lost dignity with massive New Years Eve shows here in Dublin, as well as regular sets at the now defunct Antics. This weekend Darren Cullen flies the ****disco flag in what should be the perfect cure for a heavy Paddy’s Day session.

Their biography certainly bigs up their partying, let’s hope they live up to their name:

“Many bands like to think they know how to party. But there aint no party like a ****disco party. How many bands do you know who cart generators half a mile down disused railway tunnels, install light systems and play all night to half a city's ravers? Who else plays lock-ins where you're actually locked in by the bouncers? When did The Horrors last buy a caravan off eBay and build in a soundsystem because they'd been evicted from their flat for too many public order offences? We rest our case.”
