Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Carol Nash is 15 years here but only 10 years in the UK. I just got my renewal quote today with Adelaide for an 07' TDM 900, €439, fully comp living in Dublin with 9 yrs no claims, age 40 ish, and the bike garaged. I used to insure older bikes ('91 TDM, '89 KLR 650, '85 XJ900 )with nash's classic policy and it was always around the €300 mark so was good value. I checked this morning for the '07 TDM and they quoted €455 but sure there is no point in changing for the sake of €16 quid...Although Nash have gotten much more competitive on the modern side of things. Last year they were quoting around €700 for my '07 TDM while i still had the '91 TDM with them on classic....AON were around €650 today and Quinn were around the €450 mark (I have my taxi through a broker with hibernian) but unless you have many policies with Quinn they wont reduce. I've also heard of people ringing quinn using 3 different names with all the same details (Age/Experience/Licence/Area of Dublin etc etc ) and getting 3 different quotes.....

Aon bike care are pretty good ...I have 4 bikes insured with them ,living in Dublin , third party only and they are way cheaper than anyone else. I would like fully comp ,or even theft ,but that just jacks the price up beyond affordibility ......bikes are 250cc to 500 cc ,oldest 51 ,newest 02....they only take cash at Aon ,so be warned .

The staff are friendly ...no I dont work there !!!!

I have been with aon for about 4 years now and always pay by bank draft- usually get my mum to get it as she has a golden years a/c so the bank don't charge her any fees- every little helps lol
