Must do/must see in Dubai?

    Hiya,

    Going to Dubai with husband and parents for 2 nights/3 days while on route to Thailand - going in about a months' time.

    We're staying in the Radisson Blu in Deira Creek.

    Can anyone suggest some must do activities for our stay (apart from the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall)? We liked the look of the desert safaris but they seem to be quite expensive and very touristy! Any recommendations for good agents?

    Seem so you're staying in Deira, it will be really easy and really cheap for you to do the walk along the Creek taking one of the water taxis across (they're really cheap) and go for a wander around the Souks (I think they're a bit dirty and dingy.....but I also hate shopping) If you're into shopping and haggling you should enjoy it!
