Signing off JSA

    I am signing off JSA at the end of this week as I am starting a job on Monday. My payment is normally on a Tuesday. However, I am unlikely to be paid until the end of the month so would benefit from the 5 days payment (Wednesday - Saturday) but will have no means of collecting the payment on Tuesday or any other week day because I will be at work. Is there any means of overcoming this? Eg me collecting the money on Saturday week?

    Write a nice note to the welfare office explaining what is happening, in it ask them to post out your last few days payment,or leave it the the post office till saturday.

    you can collect it on saturday
