Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I sent prints to the uk recently. One of the prints was 15x10, they have jiffy bags in the post office large enough for that size so you should be grand. They cost about €2.50. I cut out 2 sheets of cardboard from an old box in the garage, a little larger than the prints and placed one either side. I also wrote "do not bend" on the package, just in case and sent by registered post. Another way is to roll the prints and send them in a tube if you can find one to fit. But I wouldn't like rolling them up like posters, I prefer to keep them flat.

ah yes, the fun starts now for you :)

inside large envelope - one of those cardboard backed and sandwitched between two very strong pieces of cardboard and inside another large envelope / large padded envelope

a bit of overkill yes but just a little - you don't want to have to reprint and send again

postal tubes can be suitable but I think with an 8"x12" you are open to damaging your print depending on what media you are printing on and how pliable it is.

there is a fibre board which is incredibly light but very strong which would be good too (Eason's stock it in arts supplies), but it is quite expensive (about €7 for a smallish sheet) if you were going to use it to sandwich your prints.

    Thanks Thecageyone and AnCathDubh,

I have pleanty of strong cardboard here at work for sandwiching the phots in and i think the best bet is the padded envelope with do not bend written on it.
I just hope they get there ok.
Nice to finally get a sale.
Thanks to you both for quick replys.
    All the best
    Steoc.
