    I'm a bit slow today :o

Wouldn't it have made more sense to get the map and then post a dyno result, rather than showing us how you're down on power?

Nice ninja edit! How much do you think the remap will yield?

May as well squeeze out power before the remap, rather than going back and back and back again to keep tuning.

When you dyno your car, you'll always get the flywheel bhp (based on some conversion figure) as that's the same figure, the manufacturer would state.

These figures can vary from dyno/dyno provider to another. So when you do modifications it's best to test with the same guy/dyno again, to get a realistic figure on the increase.

here in australia all dyno readouts are given in wheel kilowatts or wheel horsepower as the dynomometer can't accurately read bhp due to the fact that every car is different. fwd, awd, rwd, auto, manual, diffs, driveshafts, wheel size all affect it. there is no set conversion rate or even rule of thumb but most tunehouses say there is between a 15-25% loss in power between the flywheel and the wheels.
the only way to get a bhp reading is to remove the engine from the car and put it in an engine dyno.

That's why you have to go to use the same dyno again, after making modifications. That way you know the exact difference.

It's no different here. The dyno places just have certain values for certain cars that they use to calculate the engine bhp. You are often given both the wheel bhp and the calculated bhp.
