Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Best Chess software trainer/Best training methods?

    Picked back up chess after 15 years of not playing it. Am wondering what are my best options for software training, for various reasons I'd prefer to work on my own with stuff. General training advice is also appreciated. Goal is to become competent enough to hold my own at club level at some point.

    I remember a fair bit of stuff from years back, so not a complete noob but never trained properly so don't have that good a starting base. Am at around 1400 on Shredder atm to give you an idea of level, Rybka is wiping the floor with me.
