    I thought it was refused classification? Isn't that a lot different to being outright illegal?

    Either way, what a stupid move by an already moronic government. This is the same place that asks people if they have pornography at customs and banned small-breaster porn stars.

    There'll probably be an episode of that awful border control programme where someone gets arrested for having a copy of MK soon enough. Don't Australians have enough to worry about already with the death spiders, death jellyfish, death reptiles, death sharks and kangaroos with boxing gloves?

    They dont have a proper rating system according to blunty3000, they have no 18 plus rating system.

    If you read the ruling, the fatalities are described in great detail.

    You can read about some of them here. Replace the overuse of "explicitly" with words like "lovingly" and "tenderly" for a good chuckle. :)

    Why on earth did everything need to be described 'explicit'? Is there an implicit way to chop someone in half?

    Scorpion paints an abstract image representing the pain of his opponent, maybe? Artality?

    except this one is great going by the demo.

    They allowed God Of War 3 to be sold though, MK is cartoon violence, GOW has pretty gruesome head ripping, disemboweling and other assorts acts of hilarity.

    Is it not unconstitutional that customs are seizing the game that's being imported for personal use? It was refused classification so therefore can't be sold in australia but that doesn't stop people importing it since it hasn't been banned?

    I think I will at least rent this. Will take me back to the megadrive days. Christ, I was obsessed with this game!
    Poor Aussies. Not only to they get ass raped when it comes to pricing, they have to put up with a heavy handed censorship board too.
