I dont see the relevance in you showing how concerned you are about Liverpool hoofing the ball up to Carroll.

Have a read of the charter and it may become clear.

Wow, a half decent cross for Carrol.

    They've found their level now:D;)

They may not travel well, but they're not fools. Do the same thing over and over and an U-8 side could figure it out and adapt.

A mind-numbingly boring clash between two very frustrating sides whose tactics are head-wrecking to say the least.

But enough about The Muppet vs Melion, how's the game going? ;)

well Braga haven't been "thumped" in the first half that's for sure.

This game has shown how much we need quality on the wings.

    12 years and counting.....

Muppet has 60% of possession but Melion will be playing towards the kop in the 2nd half so it may all change then

muppet what time is the champions league draw on in the morning?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 43,311 ✭✭✭✭K-9

Might as well get it out of the way, Pacheco on soon?

Muppet's in trouble then, he can't defend The Kop to save his life!

    I think its 11

Surely a fan of a team in the draw should know that though.

Good to see everyone is in tonight.

As for the game, meh. Cole seen "in glimpses" Carroll has battled well but needs some players to show for him.

I can't remember a single time when we have got to the line and wiped a cross in during open play which is criminal when you have a forward like Carrol.

We also lack any real invention or creativity from the middle of the park.

    Opr

Nobody really rising to him at all, same old same old tactics. Needs new tactics.

Complete manure so far. Nobody wants to get on the ball. When they do, we can't even string 3 passes together. Totally bereft of any creativity. Lumping up to Carroll isn't going to win us the game. I feel sorry for him cos he can offer a whole lot more than being our Niall Quinn.

Probably, Liverpool were 5-10 minutes away from a Semi-Final in our first time in the competition.

Ngog for Maxi, and pacheco for Cole (Whos looked good but too slow).

Only thing we can do imo. Least a bit of pace on Ngog, might get a few crosses. Pacheco might add a bit of creativity too. No point having wide players out there.

Id also swap Wilson and Johnson. Alan is causing a lot of problems down their right hand side.

So Spurs hoping to avoid United is relevant to this thread.

Its ok though, our performance at Anfield 2 weeks ago against United show they do know how to play football.

lol haven't watched the 1st half, couldn't care less but you're the one who seems to be obsessed about United from reading it.

Well it shows you badly off form the Muppet is when Berba is the only one rising to him in a Pool thread. Has seen his best days I'm afraid.

A Liverpool goal would make this game so much more interesting.

Would mean braga would be inclined to attack...and so much more dangerous with the away goal potential.

Kyrgiakos on for Wilson, Carra to RB and Johnson to LB. Both pushing forward, Wilson has looked out of his depth tonight.

Pacheco on for Maxi. Cole to the Left, Pacheco Right, and leave Kuyt up top with Carroll. Try to get Cole/Pacheco/Johnson in down the wings.

someone show carroll how to keep himself onside:rolleyes:
