Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Wrapping up cables in tight loops like that isn't good for them.

I never wrap my recharge cable up, still have the same one for years.

We need a proper talk show host like Parky, Gaybo and co. This is not entertainment. Nationwide are promoting all that is good in Ireland almost every evening.

Did you see Gay interview Parky a few weeks ago on his 'Meaning of Life' show?

It was excellent, two heavyweights in a detailed, intelligent discussion.

Both sadly missed from their respective shows.

"Entrepreneur" has to be the most mispronounced word around , but that Kerry fellow takes the biscuit! Most people seem to think it rhymes with "manure" ( it doesn't!..) but the Kerry lad got the rest of it wrong also. Some going!

I completely agree. That interview was a joy to watch and listen to. I really miss Parky, I used to love his show. He was such a pro that he even came out on top after that terrible Meg Ryan interview.

Yeah. Vampire weekend were, shall we say, 'influenced' by Paul Simon/Graceland on the album this song is from.

Jack Daniels have just announced their new format for the JD Set 2011. They will be featuring one of Irelands most successful and respected writers Neil Hannon who will collaborate alongside Choice Prize winning JAPE and multi time Choice Nominee Cathy Davey. They will play an exclusive free gig at The Button Factory in Dublin on Friday 1st of April (April Fools day no less) and it should make for a storming gig as they perform their own version of Vampire Weekends debut album.

"you can't go below the level which people need to live"

Kind of ironic considering the fact that many 'artists' want more tax breaks and to be funded by a state where many people are actually struggling to live full lives.

the 'best of Ireland' positivity special is unlikely to feature a negative equity whinger who is about to emigrate.
