    Hey folks,

Recently moved to Vancouver and am looking to start a sleeve while I'm over here.

Anyone know of a good place for Japanese work?

I will ask my Canadian buddy and get back to you :)

In the meantime I recommend doing a few web searches, viewing portfolios online and in person.

There's a little place down the very end of Davy street, just up from the beach, I found them very friendly and informative. My friend got a fair amount of work done on his sleeves by them in the last few years.

Lino at Sinister skin (Port Moody) Actually apprenticed in Japan and worked there for 6 years. He might be in China right now but worth checking out. Back where I used to work in Port Moody EVERYONE I know there is heavily tattooed and they ALL swear by and only get work done by Dave or Lino at Sinister Skin.

I've had work done at http://nextbody.com/wordpress/tattoo/ by Paul.
My friend did my work so I actually had to wait almost a year in between having them colored in. (worth the wait ....discounted price ...yey) They were finished a year apart from each other but look identical in both art work AND quality/vibrancy of the ink. Good prices, good work, nice shop.
