need help buying a multimeter

i just broke my multimeter and i want to buy a new one i was looking on argos.ie and found the Challenge Electricians Toolkit with a multimeter in it i was wondering has it a buzzer for continuity tests also if its a good one or not can you please suggest good ones is well my budget is under €50 and i live in clare so it would be helpful if i could buy a multimeter under €50 in clare from one of the shops please help me

I'd probably try avoid Argos, unless your in a rush, as you would probably get similar quality alot cheaper else where.

Have you looked up dealextreme?

You should definitely get something for under €50. Many car shops are now selling meters now...

I bought one of These about 2 years ago and it is perfect I would highly recommend it. I know its not a brand name but its worked perfect for me since day one and its had plenty of use.

Fluke is a good brand for test equipment.
Definitely a better choice than other mickey mouse manufacturers

The fluke T5 range of testers are the best ones out there for sparks. They have 3 settings, Volt detection, Current detection via an open jaw at the top, and resistance with a buzzer. they are expensive to buy new but look on ebay! If you do buy one you won't regret it! Check it out here if you like

BTW I own one of these i don't work for fluke!! maybe they'll give me a job!!
