Which one is Belfast in? I'd take that country too as it'd be nice to finally have two cities in this country.

Dont forget that Dublin, although being an urban sprawling kip, is however considered a city aswell.

how about we make a deal, they give us back ulster and we agree that our capital city will mimic a british city. And the residents will speak like the queen and use british slang and turn it's nose to the rest of the islands citizens. ;)
    You ain't getting the Ulster.;)

I also would be in favour of transferring Cork into the UK as a part exchange deal.

Fermanagh. For the love of god give them Cavan, though there will be a serious disagreement if there is a toll bridge along the way for Cavan.

Giving Cork to the UK - where'd the leadership come from to stop the rest of the country folding back into the UK... Oh, okay, I see where you're going.

All of them. We can trade them south-Dublin in return.

Don't give them Cork, can you imagine how horrible a cross between a Cork accent and a Northern accent would be.

If history has taught us anything we shouldnt incorporate just one or settle for one. In 1922 they thought that it would only be a matter of time for the 6 counties to join the free state and the whole border commission debacle..

Bemused at Tallaghtman's lack of understanding skanger junkies are skanger junkies, and a comment on them not liking something is not a comparison. ;)
Yes we have thespians, outstanding performers and superlative artists of all types (see below).

    Simples , take Antrim.

The demographics mean that the other 5 counties couldn't survive

The real question is could we transfer the six northern counties into chernobyl and get away with it

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 166 ✭✭bitter

Sure Derrys nicely divided. The Catholic mainly live on the Donegal side of the Foyle, the prod's live on the other side. Split that dump in two! I'm in agreement with ditching Cork, could never understand those boyos!

    we can only dream

Either Fermanagh or Armagh, it'd only make since having counties bordering other Republic counties like Cavan/Monaghan/Donegal which are part of Ulster, so they connect up. Preferably Fermanagh, I live too close to Cullaville (Co. Armagh) and benefit too much from it's cheap drink to have Republic law ruin it.

Say we could take Antrim and Derry.

But offer them Leitrim in return but we would have to re-name it something like Royal Leitrim of London to fool them, cant have them knowing how ****e it is:D
