Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I cannot access any results from the Google, Yahoo or Altavista search engines. I can type in my query and press the search button then I get the IE cannot display the web page message. Anyone any ideas how I can sort this. All three Search engines cannot be 'encountering problems' can they ?

Clear your browser cache. Press Ctrl, shift, Delete and select all and delete. Re start the browser and try again.

Definitely sounds like a Denial-of-Service attack by malware. As stated above, download, install, update and scan with Malwarebytes in that order.

Note: Some viruses / trojans will prevent Malwarebytes from installing or updating successfully. If this happens, repeat the process in 'Safe Mode with Networking' by pressing F8 a few times as your pc begins to restart and choosing this option.

Until you get this sorted you could try manually typing in DNS servers Eg 208.67.222.222

It might give you Internet access to download mbam and update it

I downloaded the Malwarebytes anti Malware from the site suggested above and did a quick scan which identified some threats, the Quick scan didn't fix the problem I had but after the Complete scan (approx 1 and a half hours which identified more threats) I could use all the search engines and I wasn't being redirected when I clicked on results in Google which was happening fairly often before I had the problem of getting the 'IE cannot display the page' message.
