Going Back As Mature Student

    Hi my Fellow Boardsarian,

    I am going back as a Mature Student, to finially finish my BS Degree. Does anybody know how the process work?

    Do I get an interview or ?

    I am a mature student in the college in first year. I applied through CAO as a mature student, the college invited me for interview in May last year which took place in the Burrin Centre, didnt hear anything back until CAO offers were released and I took the offer.

    Then I was asked to fill out a form and send it back, confirming my place. It rolled on from there, and here I am, almost finished 1st year.

    Nope, you don't have to be interviewed.

    Mature students who apply through CAO for entry into 1st year are interviewed.

    You'll need to do an advanced application, which is an application to the college for direct entry into a non first year course.

    Call the college on 9175000 and ask for a form to be sent out to you or you can download a copy from here > http://www.itcarlow.ie/downloads/AdvancedEntry2011/APPLICATION%20FORM%20ADVANCED%20ENTRY%202011.pdf

    Make sure to have it back in by 1st May!
