Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I don't want to leave hungry birds hungry so when is it ok to stop putting out food? It's mainly Starlings and sparrows now with a few others. what's the best way to ease out without leaving dependent birds in "cold turkey"?

There are very good reasons NOT to stop feeding garden birds at all. Through the nesting period the adults need all the help they can get. If you must stop then just gradually reduce the amount of food you make available. Do this over a 2 week period. Reduce the seed first and then the peanuts. Make sure there is water available all year round though.
