Meade LX200 Blown Electronics

Hi all I have blown a capacitor in my Meade LX200 Classic, and damaged a connector in the RA motor. I know absolutely nothing about electronics and I am wondering if there is anyone in or around Dublin who might be able to look at it and possibly repair it? Thanks Paul

I have a friend of the brother in law looking at it, I have also had an offer from a fellow amateur who can help..

If nothing comes of either of them I will be very appreciative of any help.
